Sensing the need of the booming aviation industry for professionally trained and skilled manpower at the Airport, Aviation Ground-handling Academy (AGHA) has come up with a specialized course in ground handling operations, an indispensable part of the industry.

AGHA is a divison of Delhi Airport Service (P) Ltd. – which was established in 1971 and has been in the aviation business for more than 35 years. (Commonly known as DAS in Airport circuits)

The organization has had a successful relationship with major reputed airlines at Delhi Airport in various fields.

The aviation industry is a multi-billion dollar industry and it is growing stronger by the day and therefore professionals will be required to handle the operations. In the current scenario, there are plenty of job opportunities available in the industry. Our Faculty

Hardip Singh

• Over 40 years of enriching experience with KLM Royal Dutch airlines
• Last assignment was ‘Regional Service Manager India’ for KLM / Northwest airlines
• Nominated as JAR OPS Quality System Auditor
• Was instrumental in setting up five stations in two countries for KLM with staff strength of over 300
• Devised systems and processes for raising the productivity bar for employees at KLM
• Has trained over 1000 staff over the years

Rachna Macker – Over 10 years with Jet Airways

• An experienced trainer with over ten year’s of experience in training the ground handling staff of an airline
• Has trained and raised many batches & teams of committed ground staff that went on to become assets to an airline team
• Specializes in basic airport handling procedures that includes automated / manual check-in, baggage handling, special handling, ramp, arrival and facilitation of passengers
• Done several years of managerial training for duty managers and supervisors at the various airports and has also imparted training on soft skills and customer care to security staff, ground staff, reservation, loaders and drivers
• She has been involved in preparation of effective training manuals and modules for basic airport handling procedures that continue to be the syllabus in most well known domestic airlines
• She is certified instructor for reservations on Amadeus & Galileo.
  

Kamal

• Having 10 years working experience with an international cargo airline
• Has experience in handling flights from clearance till dispatch within India & abroad
• Has experience of conducting on the job trainings in Cargo, Handling of dangerous goods and Ramp safety
• Has experience of liaisoning with various ground handling agencies and managing ground activities
• Holding FAA certified security license and has valid license of load and trim for B-747-100/200/300/400

Jaspal

• Professional from hospitality industry
• Has experience of Personality Makeover/Corporate Dress-up
• Knowledge of social etiquettes and life skills
• Has ability to empower students with interview handling skills
• Have conducted number of English conversation skills workshop
• Has an ability to counsel and motivate students
